My Favorite Picture Book 🌈

One picture book that has really stuck with me is A Bad Case of Stripes by David Shannon. This book is such a classic, and honestly, it's hard not to love. It's colorful, a little silly, and somehow still hits you with a meaningful message.

What really makes this book special to me is the message about being yourself. It reminds readers, especially kids, that trying to please everyone else can make you lose sight of who you are. A Bad Case of Stripes delivers that lesson in a way that feels cozy, funny, and memorable instead of preachy. It's the kind of book that makes you smile, laugh, and maybe even think a little-which is why it's my favorite.

  1. I absolutely love your "preachy" comment. I actually smiled out loud when I first read it!
